Ankleshwar police on Tuesday booked 50-year-old Shailesh Patel, principal of a municipality-run school, for rape, a day after video clips of he allegedly getting physically intimate with minor girls surfaced.

An FIR was lodged against Patel following a complaint lodged by father of one of the girls.

L B Tadvi, police inspector, Ankleshwar, told TOI: “Patel, who is the incharge principal, has been booked for rape. He molested minor girls several times in the past five to six months. The CD containing the video clips will also be probed.“
