UP man posts woman's nude pics on FB, booked

The city police on Tuesday booked a 30-yearold man from Uttar Pradesh for allegedly uploading nude pictures of a woman on a social networking site.

The accused, Harsh Gupta, a resident of Pata kapur in Kanpur district, had got in touch with the woman through a matrimonial website few months ago. Rajkot B-division police station booked Gupta following a complaint lodged by the 27-year-old woman, who lives in Bhagwatipura area of the city.

Gupta has been booked under sections 406 (breach of trust) of IPC and provi sions of Information Tech nology Act.
