CAPITAL SHAME: SEXUAL ASSAULTS CONTINUE
Two days before the Nirbhaya anniversary last year, a 19-year-old German national was allegedlyraped around midnight in Prasad Nagar, near Karol Bagh.
The woman said that on December 14, she had stepped out of her hotel at 11.15pm for a stroll but lost her way. She sought help from an auto driver but he took her to an isolated spot and raped her.

The woman managed to extricate herself and fled to another street but her attacker traced her, her police statement said. The man chased her, this time with a group of men sitting inside the auto.

They ran towards her and began molesting her. She m,anaged to bite one of them, causing a commotion that led to them fleeing in panic. The woman was offered help by a passerby, who took her back to her hotel,” according to officials of Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), who were later approached by the survivor.
