Curfew in Maharashtra town after clash over eve-teasing

Maharashtra’s Washim district is under curfew since Tuesday when a 32-year-old man was killed and over a dozen injured when two groups clashed over the alleged molestation of a minor girl.
Amid the watchful eyes of a large number of policemen, the deceased Babu alias Sajauddin was buried on Wednesday.
Earlier on Tuesday afternoon, the victim was on her way back from school when the accused, who belongs to a different community, intercepted her and passed some lewd remarks.
