The roadside Pieta shrine attached to the Holy Cross parish church in the Anglo Indian enclave of Tangasseri in Kollam was found to be desecrated by vandals early Tuesday morning.
One of the posters pasted inside the shrine said the Bishop Jerome Nagar commercial complex, a shopping mall of the Kollam diocese, will be attacked with bombs. Other posters contained derogatory language against clergy.
