At a VHP-Bajrang Dal event, leaders spoke out against religious conversion, cow slaughter and love jihad
The Vishwa Hindu ParishadBajrang Dal public meeting and shastra puja programme held at Sardar Chowk in Ranip may have been meant for resurrection of Hindu pride and worship of weapons on Vijaya Dashmi, symbolizing the victory of good over evil. However, it turned out to be an event for leaders to verbally lash out at other religions.
Their main speaker, national convenor Dharmendra Bhawani, spoke out against religious conversion, cow slaughter, and love jihad.
He claimed that Hindu Gods had used their weapons to protect and defend the religion. “Thousands of years ago, there were only Hindus but over the years poor Hindus have been converted by other religions to enlarge their tribes. These religions held their religious texts in one hand and a sword in another, and those who did not convert were killed,“ he claimed.
