Violence ahead of Eid in Ahd, crude bombs hurled at police

An angry mob pelted stones on a police team that was enquiring into a cow rustling incident in Shahpur area of Ahmedabad on Sunday -a day before Eid ul-Azha. More than 200 cops along with a company each of the SRPF and Rapid Action Force were rushed to the site.
This was second episode of rioting since Saturday . Two policemen were injured when cow rustlers in Mirzapur attacked a police team.
