Stone-pelting in Vadodara, SRPF deployed

Vadodara, July 19, 2014, PTI: Two groups clashed and pelted stones at each other here after an argument late last night, prompting police to lob tear gas shells to restore order, a senior official said today.
The violence was reported from Junigadhi and Chhipwad, the communally sensitive areas, where three companies of Special Reserve Police Force (about 300 personnel) were deployed to maintain peace and prevent any flare-up, Police Commissioner Satish Sharma said.No injuries were reported, he said.
