Karnataka MLA defends ‘ communal’ Twitter post

BJP National Executive member C. T. Ravi on Monday defended a tweet he posted on Sunday that called for the implementation of the Gujarat model in Uttar Pradesh to stem communal riots in the state.
The Karnataka MLA said he had no intention to stoke communal tensions and that his tweet was a “ genuine suggestion” to help the UP government control communal violence.
